In addition to individual and group psychotherapy, many people who suffer from OCD, OC Spectrum Disorders, and related anxiety disorders have found great value in the growing number of books, articles, and television programs addressing these conditions. Many have silently endured these disorders for years, and reading a book or viewing a television program may be the first time they have learned there is a name for their condition, that others suffer from it, and that there is treatment available.
The OCD Center of Los Angeles maintains an archive of books, articles and videotapes related to OCD, OC Spectrum Disorders, and related anxiety disorders. Included in this collection are issues of the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation Newsletter dating back to 1987, books, research articles, and videotapes. Clients of the center may use these resources any time free of charge.
